A virus will propagate on a MAc, one only needs to spend lthe time to develop the software, but why waste you time to attack 6 machines.
And there you have it - why spend the enormous effort to develop a Mac virus when it's so much easier to make a Windows one?
Admit it - your claim that most hackers are Mac users is stupid, and absurd.

Even if that was the only reason why Macs get fewer viruses... Macs get fewer viruses.
It's always a crackup when Windows users argue that their machines are better because they're more infectious.
Mac users are zealots about Macs (I've never met one who wasn't). They're desperate for converts because they want to create new business for Mac -- that's how fearful they are of Mac going belly up.
