Of course, not a think tank does not have and never will have access to the information, while we (CBP) do.
People only believe sources they believe in. Its a belief system thing. Any source they do not believe in, regardless of the validity of the source is unbelievable.
Take Hilary and her new stance on border security. Very few Republicans believe she is serious or will follow through with her position due to their belief that she is untrustworthy.
I don't expect you to believe me and could care less if you do, but that does not change the fact that it's true. You can feel free to trust the politicians and the so called think tanks they commission to confirm their views or counter the views of their political rivals, or you can trust the people on the ground with first hand experience.
Up until a few days ago MI, I don't think I ever read one of your posts. I have no reason to believe you. The fact that you believe the opposite of what I believe is not a good debating point for your side no matter how you spin it. I haven't said you are wrong, I have only said I have no emperical evidence that supports your view and I question what I read. You have offered nothing but your opinion and I have given it all the weight that any logical thinker should without evidence to back it up. None.
