A shakeout is afoot in the world of urban apparel, as sales of once red-hot labels begin to cool, analysts and industry executives said. The across-the-board slowdown is alarming some of the major department-store retailers that had allocated a growing amount of space to these brands on the belief that the double-digit sales growth of recent years would continue, sources said.
Federated Department Stores, which operates the Macy's and Bloomingdale's chains, for instance, is seeing recent sales of urban brands decline in the double digits, compared with year-ago levels, said one person, who added: "It has everyone worried."

Meanwhile, demand for the oversized jerseys and baggy jeans that these lines were known for dwindled, as classic looks regained popularity.
[snip]
"What we had at retail," admits Ullmann, Phat Fashion's president, "was too urban."

better watch out....he is willing and able to take every quote you have ever put on here, take it out of context of the conversation, and then use it against you to make himself feel better.
In short, he is an FR stalker....

I have an idea. Let's find out who is boycotting what and boycott their boycott!
Possible slogans.
"Down with boycotts!"
"Botcott the boycott!"

Ping me to any boycott thread you run across and I'll do the same. We can be the "Boycott Boycotts Warriors". We will be hated everywhere we turn up.

Boycotting Heinz is really stoopid. Terayza is on a trust and doesn't have any say in the running of the corp.

I still see men who should know better, eating in restaurants with their baseball caps on backwards. If memory serves, this stupidity began as a teenage fad about 15 to 20 years ago and, at that time, I thought it would last about as long as the hoola hoop. Apparently, there are a lot of fashion challenged dorks out there who still haven't got the memo.
FASHION RULE:
If you're a male and wondering whether to buy the latest clothes craze, ask yourself the one question that I always do: "Would Cary Grant wear that?"
In terms of male fashion, you still can't go wrong with such a question.
To: Conspiracy Guy
yeah it is...
Boycotting any company that would preclude you from getting on FR is even stupider. Thinking about it, from that stupid website, that is EVERYTHING!! The Cisco routers of the internet, the laptops and PCs, sure Dell made the PC, but did IBM make the components? HP is democratic. Apple is democratic.
Its just funny.....well actually its hilarious....

The crack of the ass look is real classy.I sometimes look to see if there's any cheese stuck in the crack.Men wear their pants like that to give their gay lover quick access. It's almost funny watching the idiots walk around with one hand constantly pulling up their pants before they fall to their knees.
