You've got that right. I've got a pretty strong background in energy systems engineering, and saw all the go-around once before in the Carter era. Lots of government subsidies for wind, solar, biomass, etc. Seen a solar panel lately?

Carter mandated coal, not gas, for industrial boilers. This was after signing the federal surface mine law that put 90 percent of < 200,000 tons/year small mines out of business.
Mindless.
