"I was just in the editing room, working on the last piece," Bill Moyers says. Can we hope that it's a self-directed eulogy?

The scandal of Bill Moyers was PBS paying his son millions of dollars to promote the show. BM could take a meager salary and pontificate about the evils of the right.
All the while PBS was being used as a slush fund. Those evil republicans, wanting to close down the PBS fraud. What an outrage!

Going out comments in that predictable evil, deceitful Moyers style:
"I'm going out telling the story that I think is the biggest story of our time: how the right-wing media has become a partisan propaganda arm of the Republican National Committee," says Moyers. "We have an ideological press that's interested in the election of Republicans, and a mainstream press that's interested in the bottom line. Therefore, we don't have a vigilant, independent press whose interest is the American people."

"What they're really objecting to is not my ideology," he says in his thoughtful, almost pastoral manner. "I'd be doing this if the Democrats were in power. It's not that I'm a liberal, it really isn't." This is so unbelieveable, I conclude that this idiot Moyers is demented and beyond any possible treatment. A lobotomy might help him, but maybe not. Constant care in a mental facility is my prescription, but keep him away from microphones and TV cameras.

This shallow, transparent windbag certainly has endulged a long goodbye for himself. If only he'd take NPR with him!

I will say this I hope he lives to be 100 years old. Just so he can see the GOP creaming his buddies ever other year for the next 30 years.

"One example of typically good journalism on "Now" not long ago: an in-depth look at the record of President Bush's nominee for secretary of state, Condoleeza Rice, who in her current post as national security adviser "dreadfully misjudged the terrorist threat leading up to 9/11, and then misled America and the world about the case for invading Iraq," as Moyers concluded. "
Moyers may be going but we have the whole weenie staff at AP to worry about now. Just in the past few months AP has gotten worse than CBS/NYT combined. And most newspapers just print this swill unedited.

Thank you for responding to my response. I think we all agree that Bill Moyers is utter slime. His words about right wing press being in bed with the Republican party and their being hacks frankly applies to himself being a hack in bed with the Dem's. He is total slime. If their is anyone in MSM who is bigger bucket of s__t than him, I don't know it. Not even Dan Rather rankles me more.
