Al Franken on USO tour ! Unbelievable !

Al Franken mentioned on his show today that some energetic people are calling & emailing the USO and protesting his going on a USO tour.
The USO is located in Arlington, Viginia and their fax number is 703-908-6401 & 703-908-6400 for the switchboard.

Like Carrottop and Gallagher (sp?), Al Franken is a walking ipecac. This sort of thing will help spread the word, and eliminate him from our lives permanently.

He actually did a very good thing the last time he did USO. He had the chick from JAG and did a basic Bob Hope-like routine which ended with a soldier acting in a skit and getting a kiss from the chick.

Why on earth would the USO even consider having this cretin visit our troops. It would be the equivalent of having Gobels do a USO show for our troops during WWII.

Al Franken is basically a decent guy, and this proves it.
Hurray for any celebrity who will risk dodging bombs (a the hotel) and bullets (on the road) to bring a little humor and lightness to the troops over the holidays.
Remember, Bob Hope was no saint in his private life, but he was a hero to our troops.
Give Franken a break.
