As near as I can tell, the entirety of your comments on the matter are "Congress stepped in and allowed it". Hardly "tackling the issue head on" IMO. Congress forcing Mineta to act against his (foolish) position hardly absolves Mineta of blame.

LOL. What's your point? If it's that Congress had to step in and correct Mineta's foolish position on arming pilots, than I suppose it does stand.

So is it your stance that we should keep Mineta in the job because everytime he takes a dumb position Congress can "fix" his mistake?
