Oh I think some of those people are educated and that's the frightening part.
What they are saying is that killing an unborn child by aborion is fine, but that defending yourself from the bloodthirsty barbarians next door that vow to exterminate you, (as in "destroy the state of Israel") is evil. I wonder where these people get their delusions from.
I worked around the IDF while in the MFO. Pound for pound they are bad to the bone.

I watch German TV and French TV almost every day and it likely reflects German and French thinking and their culture.
The above poll accurately reflects what I have been watching. Their media are very similar to our left wing media and those who follow it represent the same views.
Even though the Germans are tired of guilt feelings, they are still in deep denial over the Nazi atrocities. Likewise the French who were very happy Vichy people content to send Jews to the death camps and would be willing to do the same today.

1. German Jews were not going around blowing up trolley cars, beer halls and kindergartens in Germany.

First, the Germans have a self-interest in minimizing their own historical crimes against humanity. That's why they've joined in this chorus equating Bush to Hitler. They are trying to rehabilitate Hitler.

Everyone in France purports to have been a member of the resistance or child or grandchild of a resistance fighter.
In fact there were very, very few resistance fighters; many of those who called themselves resistance fighters simply used the term to settle old scores and kill up to 5,000 people for personal reasons.
Most French were happy and content with their Vichy government and were extremely "annoyed" that Americans and Brits invaded their country.
During WWI, the French charged the Brits a $200 fee for every boxcar of goods traversing France in support of the war. The Brits very quickly decided they were fighting on the wrong side.
I recommend you read the books, "Our Oldest Enemy" and "Forget About All That."
I wonder how closely this would match polling results in the USA blue states if asked the same questions.
