Luther's is the primary authority. It is what I use for devotionals. I like the catholic canon for books like Sirach for its wisdom. The Catholic canon is not accepted by most evangelicals for authority.
I am finished for the day have to go home now and get on the phone with my totally awesome and gorgeous Christian girlfriend. I am not finished with you yet.
Dear DarthVader,
"Luther's is the primary authority."
Well, I guess that just about drives a last nail through your alleged "Catholicism." It might be more intellectually honest for you to find a good Bible church. When you go to Catholic church, and represent yourself as a Catholic, you are deceiving others who might take your words as authoritative, regarding Catholic teaching.
"It is what I use for devotionals. I like the catholic canon for books like Sirach for its wisdom. The Catholic canon is not accepted by most evangelicals for authority."
So, you are your own authority, then. Is it infallible, as you claim your gifts of the Holy Spirit to be infallible?
"I am finished for the day have to go home now and get on the phone with my totally awesome and gorgeous Christian girlfriend."
You seem to have a need to tell me just how wonderful is your life. You tell me that you are well-to-do, fulfilled, and now that you have a gorgeous girlfriend.
May all who convert to your version of Christianity expect similar results?
As for me, a lowly, devout Catholic, I can only confess my impediments. My flaws, my sins, my brokenness. The only boast of which I may make is that of Christ crucified.
"I am not finished with you yet."
To finish, first you have to start. ;-)
Perhaps God is not finished with you, yet.
I know that He is not finished with me.
