Third graders arent responsible for their parents actions.
Illegal immigrants didnt force us to adopt a socialist educational system.
When HOME is here, (because they were born here), then whats the problem.
Just because Chinese are easily recognisable does not mean they are not second, third, and fourth generation Americans.
CRIMINAL INVADER
Legalize this kid, help with college tuition and you only encourage more Mexicans (and others) to break the laws against illegal immigration. We are a nation of laws and illegal immigration is not trivial. His parents jumped the line to get here, ahead of more worthy people who wait for years, and he will suffer as a consequence. Children suffer all the time from what their parents do.
Then he should go back to it.
Then who is responsible for the parents illegality???
The US Taxpayer??? He has already soaked up a fair amount of tax $$'s and you WANT TO DOLE OUT MORE....GET REAL, you pay his freight.
Yes he's illegal, but I feel badly for him at the same time because of his parents' actions. To be fair, it's not his fault. It doesn't make it right, but it's not his fault.
hes an illegal, his parrents are illegal... deport them all. i dont want an immigrantin this country when the first thing they did coming here was breaking the law. you look at any other country they all have secure borders, they enforce their immigration laws, but scream bloody murder if we even talk about it. these people dont pay taxes, they dont contribute anything to the furtherment of this country, they just draw off the teat that is goverment hand outs.
im not saying its his fault, but he still has illigal next to his name. if he truely wants to be in this country than he should be forced to wait in line like every other immigrant in search of a better life, he and his parrents are no better than any others.
As long as the Chinese is here LEGALLY, yes. What part of "illegal" do you have trouble understanding???
I oppose government funding of education. OTOH, I'd be happy to voluntarily spend a couple bucks on this kid's college fund. I'd want interest, of course.
It's exactly aoppropriate. His complaint is with his parents, not America.
If the owner of a mansion leaves town, and a family breaks into his house and enrolls their kids in school, the kids are tresspassers just like their parents, and the owner is under no moral obligation to let the kids continue to live in his house.
His status notwithstanding, this man appears to be everything that anyone would want in U.S. citizen.
No, his illegal alien status is the entire point, and no, illegal aliens are not who we want as citizens. We have more potential immigrants than we have places for, and to allow illegal alien parents to steal those precious slots for their illegal alien children instead of giving them to deserving, law-abiding immigrants, would only encourage more illegal alien parents to bring their children into the country.
Immigrants are the U.S., the U.S. is immigrants, hard work, self discipline, community service - I don't care where you come from or how you got here - if you have those, you can stay.
I work hard, give me your house and car keys.
Add the word "Legal" at the front of the sentence, and I agree with you. Otherwise not.
Round up ALL the illegals and send them back to their countries of origin. So "poor Pablo" isn't here of his own free will, he should STILL be shipped back to where he came from.
So? If parents raise their kids with illicit incomes, whether through stolen employment or bank robbery, their kids aren't entitled to the lifestyles those illicit incomes purchased. Yes it's tough on the kids, but if you let parents transfer the gains of their illegal activities to their children, you will only get more lawbreaking parents.
What a great idea. Let him go to Boston University where he can get free tuition (diversity, doncha know) and be subsidized by American parents who are paying the full rate. And do you want to be the one to tell the American citizen that Pablo has taken his/her place at the university?
Ping for later
Employment can not be stolen. Its not property nor it is anyone else's entitlement.
Whether our policies regarding education are sound or not, is an internal matter. It's an issue that you and I might agree on.
The issue you have addressed to me here has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that this kid is here, and shouldn't be.
If you wish to address the issue of our education system, do it on a thread addressing that issue.
This is nothing but another in a long line of sob stories about a poor immigrant that's worthy of us spending about $50 billion per year to educate. Sorry, I'm not buying it. My children and grandchildren deserve better than to have their nation ripped out from under them by people who should be taken care of in their nation of origion.
