We have had the painting for at least 25 years and paid very little for it all things considered. I had it appraised about 10 years ago but it was said to be only worth about $13,000 then. We were told that it depends on what another similar painting by Taquaq sells for at Sotheby's. If one sells for $100,000, then ours is worth $100,000 and so on. I don't monitor art auctions so it could have already happened. Hummmm wonder if I could find out on line. Anyone know how to do that?
