Police who went there discovered 26 handguns, eight rifles, two shotguns, two stun guns and about 4,000 rounds of ammunition.

In the South, that's only a beginers arsenal. Handgun count isn't bad, but don't see how folks up north get by with only eight rifles and two shotguns per family. :)

It's worse than that, there were three families living in the house, or at least 3 adult males. (The story is a little ambiguous on that point).
