All others do it for dominance. Oh, I wouldn't say that. Reproduction is more of a surface drive with them than with us. They may not do it for pure pleasure, but when some female dog is in heat, they male dogs sniffing around her house aren't thinking, "I can't wait to show my dominance!"

No, no, no. Not the need to reproduce, the act of homosexual behavior in the wild is an act of dominance. When the Alpha male of a pack mounts a subordinate male, it is dominance, not an actual sexual act.
Some monkey groups have sex many times a day. Most of it is to show where that individual is in the order of that group.
