BRAVE NEW SCHOOLS Posted: December 4, 2004 1:00 a.m. Eastern
© 2004 WorldNetDaily.com A female teacher who allegedly "married" a 14-year-old girl in a pagan ritual faces criminal-sexual conduct charges in Michigan. Elizabeth Miklosovic, 36, of Grand Rapids faces a possible life sentence for her conduct with a former student at Baseline Middle School in South Haven, Mich., the Muskegon Chronicle reported. "They also participated in witchcraft together," Detective Sgt. Dianne Oppenheim told the Michigan paper.
The Kent County Prosecutor's office issued warrants Thursday on first- and second-degree criminal sexual conduct charges, alleging Miklosovic, a seventh-grade language-arts teacher, was involved in illegal sex acts with the student at the teacher's Grand Rapids home. The girl's family initially believed Miklosovic was trying to help the girl, described as emotionally troubled, the Chronicle said. But the girl's uncle, outraged, says the teacher "brainwashed" her into thinking their actions were OK.
"It's heartbreaking to know [you put] your trust, your faith in a teacher, and this is how it goes," the uncle said. "[The girl] doesn't think a crime's been committed. She's plainly been brainwashed by her teacher."
The girl told police of five sexual encounters from June to October, the Muskegon paper said. Miklosovic has a "nontraditional family," a neighbor told the paper, living with another woman and their adopted son. Local residents expressed their anger to the Chronicle.
"If you can't trust your kid's teacher, who can you trust?" asked Monica Thompson, 24. "It appalled me. I heard about it on the news last night. A kid and a grown woman?" A recent graduate of local South Haven High School, Mallory Spencer, told the Chronicle, "It's getting kind of scary now. I have a lot of friends who teach there. ... I'm kind of numb. You hear about so much these days, nothing surprises me." The Chronicle said Miklosovic, who has worked for the district three years, was highly regarded by staff and students and had no previous criminal record in Michigan.

Rhetorical MSM question:
Why are teachers who prey on young children treated as isolated incidents, yet the same problem with the priesthood was treated as systemic?
gag me with a pentagram.
Do you think that the glasses make her look hipper if she wore them?
that would definitely complete the "retro-flower-child" look. It's no wonder the poor kid found her irresistable.
Does she have a wallet attched to her belt loop with a chrome chain, too?
This was sorta of buried in the middle of this story:
"Miklosovic has a "nontraditional family," a neighbor told the paper, living with another woman and their adopted son."
We would report it as: "Miklosovic, a lesbian predator, lived with her lesbian partner and adopted son. The NEA/ACLU enabled to Miklosovic to be a predator/teacher in school where the gay life style was glamorized."
Now we know who wore the pants in her non tradition family with their adopted son.
Your report makes so much more sense than the censor's account.
That evil homosexual flag will only go when Bishop Pilla goes, and I pray that that will be right soon.
LOL - well, I was up late at night and slept in a bit this morning, so I should have posted an alert for the other late-night rabble-rousers (like me) I guess ;-) - that would have covered this morning's readers!
If you can't trust a complete stranger, who can you trust? Man.

She looks like an overweight Sigourney Weaver.
H***, I had a lesbian gym teacher in Jr. High school. All of us girls knew to scatter when she walked in. (/shudder)
My older sisters talked about their high school gym teacher who used to leer at the girls when they were headed for the showers. Luckily she retired before I got there and I never had to deal with her.
I think she looks like that woman who plays one of the attorneys on "The Practice".

Amen. Reason 2,783 to homeschool.
