Well, if deer are bad because they mess up the decorative plantings in the ritzy gated community, but actually killing them is bad, wtf?
Or is it the method they abhor? If they're anti hunter, maybe they'd rather a wolfpack instead. I've no doubt wolves could take care of the deer problem.
But then who culls the Wolf Packs when they decimate the deer heard of 40(should take about 2 month's)and turn to the dogs, cats and kids in the area?
Let the Bowhunters take care of it!
They'd have no problem with euthanasia for the deer. But since the deer won't agree to it, and the residents can't bring themselves to see the deer harmed, the do-gooders will just as soon watch the herd starve to death over a lengthy period of time, or kill themselves by running into vehicles. This must be a "blue" state.
We have a very successful "urban" hunt to accomplish the same thing in part of our community - but we're a "red" state (one of 3 with NO blue counties).
