He's doing all the work on that; I don't know the particulars so I don't want to say something that may be incorrect.
Keep an eye open for his announcement thread tomorrow...
Theme? Hmmm...
Looks like you'll be on your way in about 15 minutes.
Been reading the posts here for a while now, but wanted to finally get on the board and say hello. There's a group of us from the University of Arkansas planning on coming to the ball to support the Honoroable Governer Huckabee and Crew.
I was wondering if there'll be anyone else from Arkansas there, but also look forward to meeting all of you and having a great time Thursday night!
Wow! This is great!! Your post made me smile.
Welcome Home!

See you at the Ball.
Metro will be your friend for the ball, as the Metropolitan Police have announced no-car zones that brush up against the ball venue.

Metro WILL be your friend...
Thank you and the DC Chapter for all that each of you do, slugging it out with the lefist goons in the trenches of our nation's capitol day in and day out.
Made it as far as Karshi-Khanabad Airfield; Karshi, Uzbekistan (it's a start)
A taliban wounded was transported on the military a/c I traveled on today. There were at least 4 medical staffers caring for this vermin. A major, two captains and one (unidentified rank) medical crew member. 2 military policemen escorted the PUC (prisoner under control). This tied up six of our best... I am told this is routine protocol. At least 2 of the aircraft loadmasters/aircrew also assisted the medical team as needed. Add in the ambulance driver/s and that makes about 9 or 10 military members devoting some of their duty day to this oxygen stealing dirtbag (under their care).
All I could do on the flight was think of the filthy rotten main steam media and how they are droning on and on about the alleged prisoner abuses in Iraq, all the while unwilling to report the kind of care given to the enemy, which is the same kind of care we give to our own wounded.
This particular PUC vomited at least twice during the flight; our medical team cleaned the person up without hesitation and promptly I might add.
Venting is now complete!
Looking forward to meeting each and every one of you at the Freeper's Ball, at the Inauguration, or at the Inaugural Parade.
PS FWIW- We are sticking around to march in the March for Life the following Monday, 24 Jan., 05.
Howdy do Mama Bear ! Darned if I don't recognize your name from those great freeping posts that you and Jim and Sheila and that whole bunch in California were involved in, supporting our troops.
It will be an honor and a privilege to meet you and the family of freepers, poised to gather ( or strike) in DC shortly.
Your post made me smile from ear to ear.
A hearty bump from Karshi-Khanabad Airfield... Karshi, Uzbekistan !
You will know me (in the crowds in DC) by the Afghan hat that I will be sporting, and a full face of grizzled hair grown especially for the occasion. Please approach with enthusiasm and introduce yourselves, one and all...
I expect to spend about 3 days here in Karshi, anxiously awaiting the day of departure of my flight from Tashkent to Frankfurt, which will, thankfully, initiate deployment (from theater) to the good ole USA.
Bumpity bump bump bump
Thank you for the heads up- re: DC parking. Duly noted and printed out for safe keeping.
The honor and privilege is mine. You and your fellow servicemen and women are my heroes and I look forward to meeting you and thanking you in person for your service.
Have a safe trip home. I am smiling from ear to ear too!
One teeney weeney correction about my current day job status- working as a civilian contractor in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (prior service though)
Bless your little pea picking heart just the same Mama_Bear !
Prior service, current service....it's all the same to me. ;-)
Hurry Hurry Hurry Get your Freeper's Ball tickets right here (bump)
Bless you Mama_Bear (and) bless the troops bump...
"Christmas in Cambodia"
One week from tonight, we'll be having a ball...
