Oh, I do believe so, xzins...perhaps that very same angel also points out the way while he's at it -- to those who have the eyes to see, and the ears to hear.
I find it particularly interesting that the tree is in the center of Paradise and also in the center of the garden of Eden (Rev 2:7 and Gen 2:9)!
