Hey, this is interesting.

The runway at Montrose is 10,000' long (field elevation 5759').

[This] website says the takeoff distance for the model 601-3R is 11,094' on a +20deg day at 5000'. For the model it's 9430' and for the "Global Express" model it's 8490'.

Sure, it wasn't a +20deg day, but isn't this cutting it a little close? (What do I know, I only fly Cessnas...)
