How do you KNOW Bigfoot wasn't at the controls?
I have a friend whose brother-in-law of a second cousin's maternal grandfather said they SAW Bigfoot at the controls. At least they said it looked like the same Bigfoot they think they saw in Washington state a decade ago.
I didn't realize you were trying to make a stab at fantasy writing.
Perhaps you sould consider leaving it to Tolkien.
If my memory serves me right,
she either saw sillouettes in windows or saw in her mind the critters inside.
They were NOT bigfoot.
