Poland never needed Westernization, for it has always been civilizationally Western and needed only de-Communization; Western Ukraine does not need that much (although it still needs a lot) in terms of Westernization; to westernise Eastern Ukraine nothing short of genocide and resettlement would suffice, and these are not in the cards. As to destroying Russia - why bother? They are nicely destroying themselves, if only walled off and left to stew in their own juices.

I hope you won't try to convience us that the mass support to Yushchenko shown on the streets across Poland was inspired by the anti-Russian conspiration. Democratic Ukraine is important to Europe, and it's even more important to its neighbour - Poland. Notice the difference between showing support to Yushchenko and helping to manipulate the elections.
