Maybe KJI has had a change of heart regarding his cult status.
Maybe there has been a coup but he is being kept alive for some reason.

Didn't something like that happen a few years ago in the Dem. Rep. of the Congo (formerly Zaire) with Khabila? I heard his people released a video tape showing him fit and healthy in an attemptto quessl rumors of his death. The only problem was that the tape was so outdated that it was a farce. Maybe that's what's going on here.
