In spite of Soros apparent support, Bush and many of the rest of us here in the US call upon Russia to cease and desist from this overt attempt at Anschluss. As for Soros apparent support, all I can say is that I am very suspicious regarding Soros motives - being the snake he is, I cannot rule out the possibility that Soros' apparent support was a ruse intended to move conservatives in the US toward a pro Putin, unwittingly anti Western position. There are pan Slavic forces (in the pre WW1 sense) in play and some of them frequent this very forum.

I ain't no Slav. And I don't have a convoluted reason like you do regarding the reasons for Soros.

Soros is for this guy? That means I am (In the sense that as an American who has no say in Ukrainian politics) against the man Soros is for.

Your Soros theory is laughable and frankly not worthy of your past thoughtful posts (which I disagree with but they were not all loony tunes like your Soros one).

Soros has done the same thing in FYROMacedonia, in Georgia and in Yugoslavia and he almost did it in the Ukraine and the USA.
