While most of the people on the streets are no doubt genuine, both Yanukovych and Yushchenko are completely controlled by Moscow IMO. This is pure theater designed to dupe the West into believing the Ukraine and Moscow are NOT working together as one.ROFL!!! I wonder how you sleep at night. Are there Russians coming after you in your dreams too?

I was referring to the very active, resilient Church of Jesus Christ in Ukraine, believers whose faith sustained them over decades of oppression.........and my prayers are with them.Have you any links for their martyrs?

Re. This so-called "Christian":
![](http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/afp/20041029/capt.sge.bjb33.291004175601.photo00.photo.default-289x352.jpg)
Sorta reminds me of the late lamented (?) "Jimmy" HOFFA. Anyone else see a resemblance?
As to the nice Churchie Photo op, we might remember a certain US President who used to tote his 9-pound Bible to Church on Easter Sunday and act quite pious ... then go back to the White House to be serviced by his Intern that afternoon, or so it was widely reported. If not a fact, it would certainly be consistant with his well - established pattern of behavior.
Now I don't live in the Ukraine and don't really know, of course - but sort of have the intuitive sense that this sort of "Christian" political "Leader" we have seen before - and not that far from home.
Surely we can't tell a person's nature by their appearance - but this Yankovitch cat certainly gives me the creeps!
As to prayers for the Ukranian folks; AMEN to that!
I don't know about you, but what I'm really hoping and praying for there and everywhere is not so much for "political reform" per se as it is for REVIVAL!
And it could just as soon break out in the Ukraine as anywhere, I reckon. The sooner the better, Praise God!
The wonderful letter posted from "Ivan" gives me cause for hope not only for the Ukraine, but for the Human Race in general.
Ivan's epistle blossoms with sincerety that I don't think is easily feigned, and he writes with the clear, resolute passion of a true Patriot.
God Bless Ivan, his Friends and Family, and all who strive, and struggle, and yearn for Freedom!
The prayers of at least one Yankee FReeper attend them.

Well since you know the judgement day results, perhaps you can let me know mine in advance as well?

[ Probably true but do you see any way they can get there? ]
Well I don't see a way.. But the founding fathers did provide a way...
The 2nd amendment was given specifically to make revolution LEGAL...
They provided a way to restart this republic and because they provided a way, they also knew this thing would run down like a clock.. else why did they provide the 2nd amendment.. FOR HUNTING?.. LoL..
They were genius's.. They knew the malefactors would eventially find a way to undo all they set up.. The only question is are their progeny up to doing it.. A well layed Coup D'Etat would be cool too but prolly not happening.. Nah! the only way to ensure freedom is by sacrifice of blood sometimes much blood.. always been that way.. Most Americans can deal with that as long as its somebody ELSES blood... always been that way too.. Success has many fathers, failure is an orphan.. American men are generally cowards. At least the ones Not in Iraq...
What to do ?... I'm old and revolution is a young mans game.. I just hope "they" will leave me alone for a few years to fish, hunt, shrimp and crab.. After that.. the youngsters better get busy cause the price to freedom in America goes up EVERY SINGLE DAY.. and it will not be bloodless.. (see previous axiom)..

[ So I guess since a MOB IS in control and a MOB WAS in control, both sides must be a MOB it doesn't matter which side won. ]
Your ignorant of the United States Constitution and the U.S. system of governance.. it is set up SO that no particular MOB is in control.. far different than ANY democracy(Mob rule).. I refuse to educate you on this.. WHo knows who you are..
The U.S. Constitution does not preclude any other partys from participating,, the two party system is held in place by the two parties.. not the Constitution.. both partys have the system set up to make it HARD for another party to engage... if not impossible.. its not even easy to challenge an incumbant let alone start a new party.. Some good things about that but most are bad..

No other news agency is reporting this.
Any other facts to back-up the story.

Well, as you said above..
I suppose I deducted you meant in the U.S the partys were mobs..
If not sorry.. If so then, as I said.. But then the democrats always were a mob. Democrats are FOR democracy.. It is true that the republicans are trying to ape the democrats somewhat.. and in that they are a mob too.. Since this republic is long dead and what we now have is a democracy.. in that.. I suppose the political process in the U.S. is now Mob rule.. maybe you were correct..

Well, let's call it a miscommunication.
I never spoke to anything except the Ukraine and the premise that a mob was running it before and after the elections no matter who won so what difference did it make..or something like that.
Maybe catch you another time.

Any links?
I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I know someone personally whose uncles were and grandparents were killed, and whose father was left to starve as a young boy (but survived) simply because they were Christian. The son of that young boy is now a Baptist minister not far from Kiev.
Does that count?

Before the fall of the Iron Curtain in Eastern Europe, the Evangelical Christians there were in fervent prayer for their freedom.
The power of prayer in countries under oppression is more powerful than our human imaginations can comprehend.
If prayer is behind this 'revolution'.....as it looks like it may be......then expect success.
As to the resemblance of the so-called Christian to a so-called Christian right here in America.......well, the one close to home gives me the creeps too.

I'll see if I can find anything online. My experience was personal, on a mission trip to a sister church several years ago.
The pastor (whose grandparents were killed) wanted to study music, and was not permitted because he was a Christian. The Church of Christ survived 70 years of torture and oppression and came out stronger for it.
It was a humbling experience for us flabby American Christians who haven't got a clue about what persecution for the sake of Christ is like. The Ukrainian Christians are wonderful, strong people.
