I couldn't disagree more.
Rather has been removed from a high profile anchor chair that reaches millions each night.
He has been reduced to the level of correspondent on a program that was preempted for sweeps last week.
150+ Minutes of face time to 10 Minutes a week is a major step down. The fact that he will stay semi-public also allows us to continue to kick Rather around.
After hearing more, we may need to press for Mapes to be cut loose, and Rather to be fully cut loose.
lets go .. march is a long time away..... who knows what will happen .... maybe pick them all off one at time.

Thanksgiving is the last Thursday in November every year here, I believe.
And Tom Brokaw is leaving his anchor chair in a month or so too. This is the best November on record :-)
