First off, Kruschev is not a Russian name. Sorry there, but it isn't. Second of all Born a Ukrainian peasant, Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev joined the Communist party in 1918 and rose through the ranks to become a member of its central committee by 1934

Dirt poor peasants in those days did not move around much.

Nikita Sergeievich Khrushchev (1894-1971) born in poor village of Kalinovka, in the Kursk district of the Ukraine. He was the son of peasant Sergei Nicaronovich Khrushchev.

That is why, he reshuffled Kiev Oblast and Crimea to the Soviet Republic of Ukraine.

Ack! I need a margarita! Make that 2!

Dear Person with only 2 letters & a number as a moniker:

His name ain't Ukrainian.Trust me. He was an ethnic Russian born in Ukraine. Read his autobiography- read his daughter's books.

And what would you be knowing about names now? You won't or cannot spell Victor Yushchenko correctly.

Gotta go - tornado warning up here in central Texas. Ta Ta & Happy Thanksgiving.
