Yep - they are Windows compatible versions. Once users try them, they'll consider switching to Linux and never look back. At least that's the hope of the folks at Linspire.

A lot of people cannot afford Microsoft Office, Open Office and Firefox could really put some pain on ol' MSFT

Close - a couple more steps are involved, and Linspire isn't the only one with high hopes. Open Source is much more than Linux.
I have tried, and currently use both OpenOffice and Firefox (IE at the moment), but I am a long way from switching to Linux. If all I needed was a productivity package and a browser I would be a lot closer.
