Do you really want to know? Really? Then start with reading the Bible. Then, read the Catholic Catechism. Then, read books on the history of Christianity and it's place in Western Civilization. Somewhere in all this you will begin not only to see the answers, you will absorb certain basic principles of the English language such as punctuation, spelling, and rules of capitalization.
The true problem with liberals is their shrill demand that their opinion is valid and worthy without having to prove it's merit.
The true path to wisdom is the one Socrates found when the oracle of Delphi declared him the wisest man. He knew he didn't know anything. He knew life was and should be the search for enlightenment. You demand that the ignorance is bliss. You throw around the term Christianity without knowledge or wisdom. You just have preconceptions. From the sound of these, ones entirely without merit.
Here's one to chew on. When Mohamed was a fugitive he found refuge in a Christian monastery. How's that for intolerance?

True Christianity is not a religion. It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ based on repentance and turning from sin, water baptism to identify with his death, burial and resurrection, accepting His atonement for your personal sins and accepting Him as Lord and Savior, and being willing to confess Him before men. He is very liberating.
