filled with graphic images of carnage and violence against Muslims in Indonesia, Palestine, Iraq and elsewhere, Why don't we get to hear about this violence and carnage. I was under the impression we weren't doing enough of that sort of thing yet to put an end to this silly jihad stuff. If you declare war as a religion then don't hide behind the BS of "religious freedom for religious wars" and "religion of peace". If we want to carpet bomb..... mecca has lots of carpets.

Gulbuddin Hekmatyar is maybe the worst of the warlords in Afghanistan, a truly evil man and a psychopath. He's had a long career of nastiness -- he's the one who nearly levelled Kabul in 1992. Afghanistan's worst nightmare. There's some basic background on him here and here.

Tell him to get in line. Their little threat about jihad is getting a bit old. It seems every other week there is some fundamentalist screaming for it. No one is impressed except maybe the French who are shaking in the boots and looking for who else's butt they need to kiss. They do so much of it I suggest, as a humanitarian gesture only, that we air lift them some plane loads of Chap Stick.
