Well, I'm still planning on open carrying there when I take my vacation to Montana and Idaho next year. And I'll have my signed letter from the head of the state police with me.
But it does suck having to worry about getting hassled by the cops simply for exercising a basic Right.
Did the legislature change enough after the most recent election so that a CCW bill will get passed?

Ernie Chambers has repeatedly stated that he will stop ANY bill to allow concealed carry. I have lived here now 10 years and a bill for concealed carry has come up three times (I believe it is three times) and all three times he has killed them. I came from a state with a bicameral government and it seems criminal to me that one man can have that much power to stop stuff. He also stops other legislation such as pro-life bills; he is the quintessential liberal.
If you get into trouble here with your open carry, call me. I'm not a lawyer, but I make a mean cake and I can put a file in it!
