I'm sure the dem's are trying to find a way to get a Perot to split the electorate or a Rudy to win the nomination.
Either way Hillary wins in '08.
a straight fight - Rudy vs Hillary, where do the Dems go for electoral votes to make up for NY, NJ, Conn, and PA? Some R states might flip, like Missouri, but I don't see they can make up the difference. every Dem electoral plan is based on carrying all the states Kerry won.
