Teens arrested in fight
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Four students were arrested Friday after a lunchtime fight kept a high school in Watts locked down for several hours, causing minors and one student to have an asthma attack, authorities said.
One student at Jordan High School was arrested after kicking a police officer in the mouth, and three others were arrested for disobeying orders to disperse, said Ellen Morgan, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Who do they think they are, Indiana Pacers!!!

Funny they don't "sanitize" stories when our military is involved, unless it makes our enemies look better. When a few thug kids get in a brawl they have to go all PC with the story.
Grrrr I'm moving to Antarctica. Anyone know if they have Internet down there?

You don't like neutered news? It save you from worrying about the facts. You should appreciate it.

In all fairness, after comparing the reports I only found the editor remiss by ditching the emotional response of one parent (which I felt worth repeating): A father said, "You have a child who wants an education and other kids who don't. That's what's frustrating."
The problem was that most of the report was too vague and sensationalistic. Too many reporters today forget to ask the basic "W's" - Who, What, Why, When, and (honorary W) How Did This Occur? That last one makes all the difference between hacks and actual journalists. It was totally overlooked for the purposes of "politically correct" rules the editors lay down for their sheelplish reporters. See "Hate Crimes" for similar nonsensical hogwash.

I was comparing the story from the Monterey Herald (from
your own link) to the one you posted here and overlooked the other link to the KABC report. I assumed that the story described as the original was the most detailed (which is almost always the case). Sue me at: Dan Rather c/o CBS News...
