They are using the upside down flag to 1) be provocative 2) to express their hatred of America and 3) to make it plain to all that they have no respect for the flag or what it represents.

they have no respect for the flag or what it represents. Except, of course, that Free Speech part. They really like that! It seems they forget that without that FLAG, there isn't any Free Speech!
Did you know that Free Speech is not a right in Canada? No wonder the DUs aren't running for our northern border.... like they promised...
