The President is doing just has he should, TRUST the Military, they won't hang a Marine out in the wind, the Media will answer, or be called to answer by us, or we deserve the Press that we have, this is on your "our" shoulders, it is way too early to involve the President.  This is a skirmish with the left that we need to win, we are at War with the press and with the America Haters (and we support our Troops fighting the Terrorists). 

 

I think the first thing that we need to do is identify the enemy,  a Terrorist could be anyone, we need a NAME and IDENTITY for our enemy, once properly labeled we can start to stomp the anti-American media with a much larger shoe.

The President cannot "come to the aide" of the Marine. He's under investigation right now and anything that could be construed as "command influence" from the Commander In Chief is not allowed.

Fox is saying this am that yesterday, before the President arrived, there was a big argument with Chilean security about GW's secret service traveling with him. Evidently this is unusual, not done by other heads of state. Chile's machismo was offended. (What are you saying? That we can't protect your president!) So there was bad blood brewing here even before last night. GW settled the matter nicely. Chile got a black eye and deserved it.
