Of the ringing phones I have heard in a theatre, none, I repeat NONE have resulted in a conversation. They ALL consisted of "I'll call you later".

Good for you. Amazing that people will talk to each other in your presence, but not on a cell phone. I wish we all were as lucky.

I will admit to being lucky. I have won life's lottery, thats true, but I don't think the people in the dark theater realized it was me. More likely they were embarrassed that they had forgotten to turn their phones off and remedied the situtation as quickly as possible.
