They sent out confirming mail to several thousand newly registered voters and nearly 1,000 were returned with "no such address."

I agree. The Republicans are finally getting tough with these cheats. This needs to be done nation-wide.

That's my district. My wife and I paid big bucks to global-express-mail our two votes each for Mike Sodrel and George W. Bush from Mozambique. It was well worth it. Th'aint been a Republican in that seat in my lifetime until now.

Hopefully, the Republicans will have plenty of tightly-focussed obervers there for the recount and handling.

Bloomington (Monroe Co.) Indiana, home of Indiana University, is the Berzerkeley of the midwest.

This is the place that launched Balint Vazsonyi upon the national scene. He was so dismayed by the professional and otherwise communist protestors who were leading Bloomington anti-war marches during the Gulf War, that he was compelled to express his outrage. It led to one of the most significant stands for American principles of the modern conservative movement.

His was quite a career for a piano player...

Anyone know if the Republicans are pushing for fraud investigations in the OH recount ? I know the MSM won't care but I do.

Never forget how close the dems came to stealing this election.

I briefly lived there, from 2000-2002. It is a nice place to live, except for the radicals. On September 12, 2001, I heard the first blame the U.S. statements.

Bloomington has plenty of both liberal and conservative. We conservative "egged" the liberal back in the '60s....Still plenty on home grown conservatives around.....Who sit at the out door cafes and laugh at what walks by............Well, it's something to do on a Saturday night.

One evening I was on Kirkwood by the library. I looked up and two young men, obviously students, walked down the street wearing signs that said "UFO Abductee Volunteer" and their phone numbers. I will never forget that one.

A friend and I happened to be in Bloomington last year on prom night......Don't remember when I've laughed so hard and long....Nothing like having your hair match the color of your dates dress.....chartreuse green....and that's was mild.

Thank God were only young once....Anything to be different. But as my son says, "there's only so many body parts to be pierced and so many color to dye your hair.....then you become like everyone else."
