I agree with almost eveything you said and furthermore, I thank you for clarifying your stand.

On the issue at hand. Since it was by an unconstitutional USSC edict that the harm we're speaking of was unleashed upon American society, doesn't it seem logical to you that the harm be undone by a reversal of their poorly reasoned and highly disasterous edict? That is what I'm speaking about.

At first glance yes. But upon further reflection I would have to say no. Yes I agree that particular verdict was a large step in opening Pandora's box. The fact is now that box is open, and we must make an honest assessment of our current culture and past historical references to arrive at a strong plan of action for how to deal with this. If simply repealing that verdict would change the situation then yes I would be all for it. But I believe as I have said before that the only sure fire way of beating this will not be through simple repeals of the laws (doing this would have the opposite affect, there would be a backlash much like prohibition).

I believe our society as a whole must choose its path. We cannot force the decision, but only work to change the hearts of the ones deciding.

If their is going to be a huge cultural realignment back to a more biblically moral place regarding sex, I want it to come from people who have their hearts changed because of a new found love for God rather then through a government censureship program. Think about it in terms of conservatism. We conservatives always talk about how the private sector does a better job then the government. I think this particular issue is no exception. Personally I don't trust government to handle this job and I don't trust their methods.
