But so you don't misunderstand my position, I am not against restrictions on the production or dissemination of porn. I just don't believe that the "serial killers" argument is either correct or helpful to the debate.
The alcohol, serial killers arguement is valid.
Not all alcohol abusers are drunk drivers but very many are. And they are in fact the probable cause of most fatal traffic accidents. They do damage vastly out of proportion to their numbers.
So does pornography. Not all porn consumers are monsters. But porn will feed the evil of an already warped personality.

If that was true, then police would do away with sobriety tests since even one glass of wine would, according to your logic, define a driver as an 'alcohol user'.
Logic is common sense, and common sense cannot be placed within a formulaic strait-jacket.
