I disagree with Tancredo on this. Unlike you, I don't believe that bribing our politicos with the support of a guest worker program, especially when one is not needed, to get them to do their job is going to work.

Look at what happened with Reagan's amnesty in 1986.

The Tancredo plan is not an amnesty, it does not legalize illegal aliens. Do you not grasp that? There is no comparison between the Tancredo plan and the Reagan amnesty. The apt comparison is between every other plan and the Reagan amnesty.

Opponents of illegal aliens who do not support Tancredo only weaken his stand against the amnesties coming from the White House and both chambers of Congress.

Yes, I do. You quite obviously do not grasp my point. I don't know how else to say it other than you seem to believe "in government we trust"...apparently.
