PALESTINIANS CALLED 'FILTHY ANIMALS' on MSNBC's 'IMUS'

(WASHINGTON, D.C., CAIR) CAIR today called on American Muslims and other people of conscience to contact the MSNBC cable television network to demand an apology for comments made on its Imus in the Morning program that referred to Palestinians as filthy animals and suggested that they all be killed.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations also asked that the programs host, Don Imus, be reprimanded for failing to challenge his colleagues inflammatory remarks. CAIR, which says it received numerous complaints about the comments, quoted a transcript of Imus November 12th program in which he and his on-air colleagues engaged in the following discussion about live coverage of Palestinian President Yasser Arafats funeral:
DON IMUS: Theyre (the Palestinians) eating dirt and that fat pig wife of his is living in Paris.

As conservatives we don't have a dog in this fight (bada bump). We should just order some popcorn and sit back and enjoy the fight!

Dial Up???? man lets get into the 21 century! and buy a new computer while you are at it.Get real! Not everyone has a mommy or daddy to pay for such indulgences. Some of us have to pay our own bills. Dialup will have to do for now.

Last time I checked, the truth is an absolute defense against libel.
Hey CAIR! Truth hurts, don't it?

"Subhumans" is the only appropriate term. It appropriately places them below animals.

Dial Up???? man lets get into the 21 century! and buy a new computer while you are at it. Thank you for your thoughtful, helpful, "mature" comment. :-(
You just "removed all doubt".
FYI, there are rural areas in the Red states into which DSL, cable, and fiber optics lines have yet to be run -- and which are way beyond the range of wireless ISPs. We (by choice) have retired in one of those areas.
Plus... I seriously doubt you know which computer I have, so you might as well STFU!!
FWIW, Wintel losers are still waiting for Intel to produce a processor that can catch up to my 'old' G5...

I have a palestinian friend who left and came to america... Funny, there is no such thing as a Palestinian race, there is only a Palestinian Political Party. That political party espouses genocide and terrorism as valid forms of political "expression". I hate to inform you of this, but your "friend" is a terrorist.
Let us hope he has as much care about your life as you do of his. Your "friends" may be the death of you yet. And it is called America, not america.

Dial Up???? man lets get into the 21 century! The Reds live in dial up land, the Blues live in DSL land. While I love DSL, I would not move from the forest to Sodom Francisco for it. -grin-

Would be a nice addition to Freeper Land, a setting to block autoload of pictures for the "rural bandwidth challenged".

FYI, I was on Roadrunner -- until we escaped from our "exile" in the blue State of MA, shortly after 9 /11/01. And I wouldn't trade living on our 65 acres of the Piney Woods of God's Country for a direct fiber link to the backbone...
Besides, how many folks with broadband have their own private 200 (soon to be 300) meter firing range -- with no one near enough to complain about the noise from a .50 BMG...?

Hey sorry to all dial up FReepers, I guess I assumed
we all could get supper fast Internet these days.
There are web pages that have text only editions that should be pretty easy for JimR to come up with...
Still friends? Hugs :))))

Still friends here!
FWIW, I suppose turning off auto image loading via our browsers is a 'workaround'.
OTOH, I still maintain that linking to a previously-posted large, graphics-intensive item (as opposed to re-posting it) is a worthwhile courtesy, and a more efficient use of FR's filespace/bandwidth...
