Without fail, every blue stater I have ever met has been too stupid to appreciate the irony inherent in stereotyping ALL white southerners as racist. As former resident of Louisiana living large in a blue state, I am frequently accused of being racist just for being white and from the South. When I point out the irony of their prejudice, invariably they all get a confused, puzzled expression.

Personally, I love the South. So much slower pace at life. Better people, friendlier too! They have a great moral reasoning, and I believe it ironic that those states who wanted to leave the Uninon are now more patriotic than any other area in the country. They know what it truely means to be American I guess since they technically wern't for a while. True it was over 150 years ago, but that's part of Southern culture and tradition now!

Can any Southern freepers back me on this?

I hate Illinois where I live. Such a waste of land. I would love to move to a REAL state like Texas. Or Indiana! A far as I'm concerned, Indiana is the South of the North. Great state. Visited my grandparents there my entire life. Love the freedoms they ensure there! UNlike Illinoying!
