I just got a call. The Mother-in-law was due to leave Union Station in DC heading for Raleigh. The Station has been evacuated and police and sirens all over. I'm cubicle bound. Any info on the news?

No other information has been provided, just from the wording of the page it sounds like it could be a drill.

On a rare occasion I had the scanner OFF in the office this morning until about 10:00. Too many conference calls! Although I didn't hear my firehouse crew racing down the street. They respond to any second level request if something happens at O'Hare. With lights and sirens I'm about 10 minutes from the airport. I din't hear any residual conversations about anything at O'Hare once I had it on.
