The republicans can be such idiots sometimes. I want to know where my food comes from. I refuse to buy anything from communists or our other enemies (ie france).
Me, too. What's wrong with knowing where your food is coming from? We know where our clothes come from.
Which meat/s you be concerned about purchasing from France?
"The republicans can be such idiots sometimes. I want to know where my food comes from. I refuse to buy anything from communists or our other enemies (ie france)."
I agree. This should not be the first battle fought.
I want to know too where it comes from. My meat, my vegetables and my fruit. Leave it alone!!!!
how do you know this source is true?
I want to know where my food comes from, but don't really care if it is from France or not (I actually like some of the wine from there but will not buy anything associated with Mr. Chirac).
I'd rather know if it comes from some country where crap can easily be mixed in and where food protections are minimal if non-existant.
I know where my food comes from. It comes from the farmers and ranchers of the "red" counties. People in the "blue" counties are not concerned. They get their food from the supermarket.
So this is going to be done quickly in the dark of the last days? By the current House? That makes me ill. I don't want food from some countries who have no standards on how they're fertilized, watered, medicated and fed.
If they can get a campaign donation from a big food company to keep their cheap Mexican/S. American stuff on the shelves unlabeled, the Republican whores will vote their way. Do you remember the e-coli outbreak from Mexican scallions a couple of years ago that killed 10 people in PA? They are not sanitary in their growing or packing practices and I do not buy anything that is not labeled from the USA. I guess I'll start growing my own produce.
I want to know where my food is coming from also----are these guys idiots?
Same here!
While watching TV a couple of years ago, they showed a man in some third-world country doing something with strawberries. The man was rather filthy and so was the area he was working in. For a while I gave up eating strawberries, which I love. Then my husband told me to read the labels on the packaged strawberries to see where they were made. Yes, I want to know where my food is coming from.
No kidding. For all the other gazzilionbillion dollars these shems and poseurs spend, I'll go for this.
FMCDH(BITS)
I just like to know the food I'm buying is fresh. For example, if the apples say Product of New Zealand at this time of year I know they're really 7 months old and likely to be mushy and nasty. Same thing for Washington apples in June.
