> "Here at FNC there are rumors about a big name leaving us," an e-mailer said yesterday. "No name was given." Is that person serious?...

>>Most people here hate Pat, but he's a pretty good host. Fox News could do a lot worse.<<

I think most people here hate him because they are young and don't know that Pat, among many others, was instrumental in Conservatism coming into the mainstream of American consciousness.

A lot of people here want to eat their old, to coin a phrase.

Pat's isolationist, antiwar, anti everything diatribes have made me sour on him even more than before.

His public divorce from the republican party prior to his total waste of time run in 2000 that helped create the election debacle is but one of his transgressions.

I will listen to him speak occasionally, but I do not want to see him on a Fox time slot. I would not watch and the competition is often worse.

He fit's right in with the MSNBC nut jobs.

If O'Reilly or Greta leaves, then good.

If it's Brit Hume or Cavuto, or even Shep, then it's bad. Very bad.

And if Laurie Dhue leaves I will never watch Fox again ... :)

Please, please, please let it be Geraldo, Alan Colmes or old horse teeth herself, Greta.

Juliet will be back this weekend, she was simply visiting her mother in Florida. I don't think that Fox would replace the more conservative Juliet with the more liberal Kiran. Fox has to keep a few conservatives on board, or else they'll end up like CNN.

I didn't even think about Geraldo ... he is the invisible man anyway, at least in the time periods I watch Fox News (5 to 8PM EST.)

Alan Colmes is a harmless foil for Sean Hannity. Maybe Christopher Hitchens can replace Alan Colmes. Of course, that means that Sean would have to be upgraded too because Hitch would be kicking his ass every night. So Sean could then be replaced by Mark Steyn. The Steyn and Hitch show. That would rock.

Dari Alexander is the one who has been wearing the glasses as of late, not Kiran Chetry.

Just thought I'd set the record straight!
