MEMORANDUM

TO: the young Marine in Falluja who is taking heat from so-called "Human Rights" supporters

FROM: the FReepers

Every day, we are grateful to you and your comrades in arms for what you are doing for our country, and every day we pray for your safe return.

We know what is going on in Falluja. Animals are murdering human rights workers, beheading innocent civilians, and killing their own people. We know how these animals fight without wearing uniforms and how they booby trap bodies.

We don't yet know your name, but we know you had just been shot and have lost friends. We know the adversity and hell you have been facing every day over there.

You can take the following to the bank. We at FreeRepublic will never allow any of our servicemen to be persecuted by the politically correct who don't appreciate what you do. If necessary, we will take to the streets and raise hell in your defense. If we have to show up by the thousands to defend you, we will do it.

I've been thinking that it takes a certain kind of person of exemplary moral character to do what you brave men and women are facing everyday.

I mean, look where our troops are. It's not like they are fighting the terrorists in their front yards to protect their family in the house. That's an immediate threat to their personal well being and their families.

Our MEN and WOMEN are fighting half way around the world, without a loved one in sight (except for their photos) and they are fighting for not only the protection of our country but also the ideals that our country stands for.

Additionally, they are fighting for the protection and freedom to self govern for a country seriously divided. Our men fight for those that can not fight themselves, for whatever reason. They fight for those who have lived under the yoke of tyranny for so long that the concepts of freedom and liberty are as foreign to them as their tyranny is to us.

What awesome individuals that have sprung from our land, to travel to distant countries, not to subjugate but to liberate. Women birth children.America births nations.

I've only read 150 posts to this thread, but plan to read them ALL! In the meantime, I want to add my words of encouragement to the young Marine who has faced more in the last few days than I in all of my 62 years. Asking God to fill you with peace and comfort, and bring you and your buddies home safely. Will pass this thread on to my grown children, who will also add their support. I spoke to someone at the Marine Commandant's office and emailed this thread to him. He is checking protocol to see if he can facilitate getting these messages of support to the Marine and his family.

YOU STAY SAFE! Whatever it takes, you do what you were trained to do and we back here will take care of this Battle. The heat is on and WE WILL NOT LET UP. As soon as we can find your family THEY will be supported. You and they already are in our prayers. We are using our weapons here, our voices, our keyboards, our phones, faxes and connections.

The advertisers target gullible liberal customers who buy their products after they get their liberal news. The liberal news is a business which does not give a hoot about patriotism only selling to the liberal market. They are liberal because it is obviously profitable.
