MEMORANDUM
TO: the young Marine in Falluja who is taking heat from so-called "Human Rights" supporters
FROM: the FReepers
Every day, we are grateful to you and your comrades in arms for what you are doing for our country, and every day we pray for your safe return.
We know what is going on in Falluja. Animals are murdering human rights workers, beheading innocent civilians, and killing their own people. We know how these animals fight without wearing uniforms and how they booby trap bodies.
We don't yet know your name, but we know you had just been shot and have lost friends. We know the adversity and hell you have been facing every day over there.
You can take the following to the bank. We at FreeRepublic will never allow any of our servicemen to be persecuted by the politically correct who don't appreciate what you do. If necessary, we will take to the streets and raise hell in your defense. If we have to show up by the thousands to defend you, we will do it.

If that Marine would have simply called off his fellow Marines from entering the room and simply tossed in a grenade to neutralize any threat, nothing would have been said. Until the enemy surrenders, he's fair game. The Marine did what he did to protect his fellow Marines.

You were doing your job, putting your life on the line--something most of those libs wouldn't think of doing because they are cowards (they disguise this by calling themselves "anti-war" or passivists). We know you did the right thing, and we support you.

He has my full support. Those guys are doing a tough job under tough conditions-- the investigating panel needs to give serious weight to mitigating circumstances here. He made a mistake, but wars are fought by men, not by angels. My prayers are with him and his family.

Marine, I want you to know that I, my family, my friends, their families and their friends, etc, etc. support you fully and completely.
War is dirty business, but you and your brothers in arms keep up the good fight and continue to carry out your mission. You protect all of us here at home via your actions in Iraq and elsewhere. When we go to sleep at night, we do so in the knowledge that Marines and soldiers like yourself are fighting for us.
For this, I will eternally be grateful.

wonder what the Swift Vets would think about this? they are still mobilized. i'd bet they would be for the troops and against the poisonous, traitorous MSM....the more groups and individuals we can bring together on this issue, and I mean ASAP, the better!
