I'm with you Doug. This young Marine did what was expected of him. The insurgent was not surrendering, he was trying to avoid attention in a hostile situation where second guessing the intentions of a terrorist will get you a one way ticket home in a body bag.

If that Marine would have simply called off his fellow Marines from entering the room and simply tossed in a grenade to neutralize any threat, nothing would have been said. Until the enemy surrenders, he's fair game. The Marine did what he did to protect his fellow Marines.
