Why all this negativism about Gates and Microsoft? He has done a great service to this country and the world. As his ideology matures, we can hope that he continues his shift to the right.

I also wish he would realize that if he wants to promote healthcare, education, nutrition etc.. in third world countries, the best way to do so is by changing the political structure of their corrupt governments.

Throwing money at a problem won't help it.

I wish he would come around on school choice too.

If I'm not mistaken K.A. wanted Gates to give money to some sort of U.N. fund. At first he refused, then something happened where Gates was going to be sued or not be able to sell Microsoft in Europe and then Gates gave millions of dollars to the U.N. fund and all was made right.
Some one might help me out with this. Does anyone remember?
