Or possibly she is telling them that they are wrong, she is righteous and that if they do this thing, not only will she be in Paradise right after, they WILL perish.

Only to us. There is a real cultural difference here: to us, those who kill the unarmed and the weak are cowards. To them, it's apparently a mark of strength to reduce someone to quavering helplessness and then kill them. Mercy is a sign of weakness. And they are so damaged by their sick religion and culture that it's an asset to make sure you are stronger than your victim to begin with. That's my take on it.
