It is time to start debating this issue, but not time to sell out to one completely, of course. There is no obvious conservative governor with high name recognition, so that means that we need to identify the best ones and get their name recognition up there.
Otherwise we'll be stuck with someone we don't like, like McCain...
Sanford, as well as Pawlenty and CO Governor Bill Owens, are all quite conservative but none are well known. Getting them well known is our job.
