RaceBannon, Thanks for posting those words from the Koran. I have read many of them before but it is powerful to see them all together. How can anyone mistake this for a peaceful religion?

Texasbluebell, Thanks for all the links and info you provided me.

RightWingBev, I understand about being afraid when you read these things. At first I was very overwhelmed, and the more I learned the more obsessed I became. The most disappointing part for me is how other people react to this info. Many of my friends and church members think I'm totally overreacting. They are comfortable just living in their own little world and buy in to this peace loving Islam.
Turn your fear into action. Read and learn all that you can and then try to teach others. I am fairly new to FR and I have learned more from this site in a month than I have from a year of reading on my own! My fear has now turned to anger..a healthy anger. We just need to figure out what we can do to stop this infiltration.

Gritty, In post 155 you said what I have been trying to say all day. You just said it a lot better than I did.
Thanks

Lastly, I want to thank everyone who has posted on this site today. This is a subject that has been very heavy on my heart and in my small little city in Colorado, I haven't found anyone to discuss this issue with. I'm glad there are so many in Freeper land who take this serious.

There's more quotes from the Koran at FaithFreedom.Org that are indexed, with links to sources, and some great articles and the ex-Muslims there do a great job of explaining Islam to non-Muslims.

It's important to note that many of the rantings of the Koran are contradicted by earlier, more subdued and tolerant passages and folks will point this out to try and counter the intolerant quotes. The problem is, according to Muslims, the Koran is listed in an order for a reason, and what comes later supersedes the earlier passages and most of the rantings come in Mohammeds later revelations making the earlier tolerance redundant. The contradictions also raise a question, as Muslims believe the entire Koran is composed of Allahs exact words as revealed to Muhammed, then why did their all powerful, all knowing Allah have such a hard time makeing it's mind up? I suppose the truth is Muhammed added whatever he personally needed, whenever it suited him to help in his wars, genocide, slavery, looting, raping, and pedophilia (see articles at FaithFreedom.Org for details).

There are also some more great ex-Muslims at ApostatesOfIslam.Com and ProphetOfDoom.Net has more on the subject.

If you want to look at Islamic sites to see this for yourself, the mainstream "moderate" Islamic site "Islam Q+A" backs up the passes about “The Hour [the Day of Judgement] will not begin until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them. A Jew will hide behind a rock or a tree, and the rock or tree will say, ‘O Muslim, O slave of Allaah! There is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!’ – except for the gharqad (box thorn), for it is one of the trees of the Jews.here. Over at Khilafah.com they have a stricter interpretation of ISlam, and back up that I posted about the agenda of Islam - a war between civilizations over here.

Or you can read Islams highest sources, their officially approved Imams in Islams holiest places and the hatred and calls to Jihad that have been preaching in my post here. It's interesting that Muslims or even non-Muslims that get offended by these facts prefer to take their anger out on messengers like myself, rather than the Islamofascists and the "root cause" - the ideology behind it.

I've been on several Islamic forums myself and with others (where I usually get banned for raising issues, so I go back in pretending to be a "moderate" secular Muslim) and can say the general feeling there for "peace and tolerance" towards the west is pretty low. But it is important to differentiate between Islam and Muslims. I believe Islam is evil to the core, but many Muslims are simply its first victims. I do not intend to make it sound that all Muslims have horns on their heads as this is not fair, or true. As I stated at least 100 posts ago in this thread, I had Muslim friends overseas and some of them were great people. Just not "true believers." All in all, living in an Islamic country for a few years as a Dhimmi expat gave me a great insight on their religion and culture, and I would like to help pass this on so others can see understand better what we are dealing with.

OK, coffees over and its time to go earn a living....
